What you need to know about bringing your puppy home!!

I would suggest kennel training with your new puppy! It helps with potty training and it is a safety precaution for when they have to be left alone. I know it can be sad but if you are consistent your new puppy will get used to the kennel and the goal is for it to be their safe space! 

When buying a kennel I would suggest getting a wire kennel! I would suggest getting a size medium/ large (36 inch) or size large (42 inch).  The kennel should come with a divider so you can make it small when you get them as a puppy for potty training purposes and make it bigger as they grow!

Inside the kennel I would suggest getting a bed/pad for inside! I would get one that covers half of the kennel so that they can lay on the bed or if they get too hot then they can lay on the floor!

I would also get this donut bed for them around the house! My girls love to curl up on these for a nap or to eat their treats! I would suggest size medium or large.

Snuggle puppies are great for crate training! They help your new baby feel like they are not alone! They do come with a heat pack to put inside, I would not use that just in case they get too hot.

When you bring your puppy home I send a bag of food with you that should last you a couple days! The puppy has been on Fromm food since they started eating solids! I would suggest keeping the puppy on Fromm food for at least the first year! Switching their food can cause upset stomach and more possible stomach issues! If their is no problems with them on the Fromm food I would not switch it up.
